I resisted that fact for a long time. I was so hooked on “I've got no time, and I'll just wait until I've finished that next project” and carrying on with the everyday, that I wouldn’t even bother to even think I could escape the time for money trap (spoiler alert: this resulted in me making zero progress for decades, and I became welded in a trap of my own making).

When the Property Investment Doesn't Work for you... it's rarely "YOU!"

THIS is why Property Investing works...

99% of All these questions are rooted in fear of LOSING MONEY... because it's the wrong way to make MONEY from PROPERTY INVESTING!

Property investing is often thought of as buying a property, doing it up and selling it for a profit. This IS NOT A STRATEGY WE WOULD RECOMMEND. 

We want to buy property and hold and make cashflow from it FOREVER!

Typically, most people who want to invest in property are PASSIVE INCOME POOR.

We WANT TO OWN property for the LONG TERM, so as long as you choose the right CASHFLOW strategy, then it doesn't matter what happens in the MARKETS, you can CASHFLOW to cover your costs and make MONEY.

But we know working all that out can be really freakin' scary! So it's only natural that you don't want to make mistakes and would be scared! But property investing is typically very forgiving of mistakes, as long as you are educated and surrounded by the right people, someone can help you work it out! 

HOWEVER...

Most people think they KNOW all they need to about property investing because they bought their own home. And people rarely (if ever) invest in the latest ideas, thought leadership on what is the best way to get the best out of the property markets, there is lots to learn about efficient tax, tenant management, cost control, legislation, planning and licensing.

IGNORING YOUR RETIREMENT NEEDS is like an elephant in the room the more you ignore it, the bigger it gets!

And maybe you too have been guilty of doing this in the past? I know I have!

You hope that if you ignore that inflation is eating your savings, that you can't get a decent return on your nest egg, that you spend a little of that nest egg on the new car your need, the new boiler and the spare room that needs redecorating, add that to property prices go up every year and your ability to buy any property slowly disappears. Your shares and bitcoin don't pay you any income and NEVER grow as per your expectations. So how's all that working out for ya?!

Think about it like this: how do you ever expect to get that “INCOME SORTED!” when your retirement date gets closer and closer and every year, something happens that means you haven’t bothered to address it again this year?

Instead, I see struggling people using what I call...

"PANIC" INVESTing:

(which doesn't actually work)

Instead of POWERFULLY getting out there and finding GREAT PROPERTY DEALS to CREATE VALUE with now and slowly FINDING ONLY the RIGHT DEALS that work. Some start to become "panicky and thrash about" property investors (or "rubbish" for short), they try to find some easy, quick wins that don't really cashflow and are in bad areas...

Convincing themselves 

It doesn't work in my area!

The property market is flawed for my strategy.

The interest rates don't work for property investors anymore.

Agents aren't any good in my area.

Short-lived "quick" tactics that intend to make you rich in a weekend!

Putting in offers to deals that don't stack, they end up in deals that don't make any money.

This leaves the un-educated investors baffled at 'how everyone else does it' never appreciating they didn't give themselves a fair chance to make it work. 

The truth is:

Just "WAITING for the RIGHT TIME"

will mean

YOU NEVER Actually Invest in PROPERTY!

Which means your income will never be sorted.

And I KNOW you DESPERATELY want to INVEST into YOUR FUTURE, you know the need to replace your income. It is like a slow train, coming along the tracks, you can hear the train way off in the distance before you can SEE it. You know its going to ARRIVE. 

Because even if YOU just found a few days this year to find and buy 2 properties and did the same next year, your investing thermostat will be set to the Property Millionaire Method!

And trust me, everyone that I know that has bought property (with good education and due diligence) and then waited, has NEVER regretted it!

So what exactly IS a WEALTHY PERSON?

You’ll quickly notice my definition of a WEALTHY person is different than most and offers a completely new way of approaching how you invest in property for the short term and the long term.

Wealthy Person: (n.) an individual who receives income on a regular basis, that more than covers their monthly bills plus their hobby, travelling and personal interests' costs (normally monthly) who can earn this income without having to spend their time to create it and whilst this person may have millions of pounds worth of funds in the bank without income to match their costs, they are not defined as a wealthy person only cash rich. A wealthy person has often had to work extremely hard to get their income sorted before being able to passively take their income, and therefore even passive income is often earnt. 

Even more concisely: a Wealthy Person has FREEDOM that is generated from income of assets that someone owns to buy their time back.

And it’s important to note: You can be CASH RICH and INCOME POOR, and POOR you still feel.

Getting rich quick is possible but often risky, generating income to be a wealthy person, is often a lot of hard work !

It works like this:

As a property investor, your assets (your properties) do the heavy lifting for you, you do the work once and get paid for life but there is a catch...

Not every property will cashflow you enough money and pay the mortgage...

Not every property will you be able to add enough value to, and then be able to refinance to get your deposit back...

Some properties can't be refinanced to their maximum loan value...

You need to buy great properties, using the right strategy to cashflow, to then add enough value to then refiance!

So, imagine all you can sell is your time and you don't have any of the above properties or the wrong properties then you will be stuck in the box, to just selling your time for money. 

Because of their thinking, circumstances, and other variables, these people feel stuck. Limited. Trapped.

And the solution is thinking outside this box?

Not how to I become more efficient, find more time, work more or take on more responsibility.

That's burnout!
